Welcome to Anthropology in Christ, a blog dedicated to sharing encouraging, thought-provoking, inspirational, insightful reflections and uplifting stories for Christian business professionals, educators, ministers, leaders, students, pastors, and those in vocational ministry.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the noun anthropology (an(t)-thrə-ˈpä-lə-jē, an·thro·pol·o·gy) means:
1. the study of human beings...environmental and social relations, and culture: theology
2. dealing with the origin, nature, and destiny of human beings.
Etymology: borrowed from New Latin anthropologia "study of humanity, science of human nature," from anthropo- ANTHROPO- + -logia -LOGY.
Christian anthropology goes even deeper—the study of humanity, creation, and life from God's perspective, understanding God's purposes, and discovering His Word concerning the life He has blessed humanity with. As Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10, NKJV).
Connie is an experienced teacher, parachurch ministries leader and graphic designer. She is a growth advisor and contributes to collaborations such as Think, Teach, Thrive: A Handbook for Christians in Education. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Church Ministries from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Divinity in Christian Leadership and Church Ministries from Liberty University. Her work contributes to the sphere of Christian leadership, practical application, and spiritual formation.
